2022年5月より皆さまに支えていただいた柏原チェスクラブは、2025年9月1日をもちましてCaissa大阪チェスクラブへと統合される運びとなりました。皆さまの温かなご参加と熱いご応援に心より感謝申し上げます。
柏原チェスクラブでは、例会はもちろん、数多くのブリッツ・ラピッド・スタンダード形式の大会を開催してきました。その一つひとつが、皆さまと共に築いてきた大切なお時間であり、豊かな思い出です。
今回の統合により、私たちはより大きなステージで、より洗練された形で活動を続けていきます。Caissa 大阪チェスクラブは、2012年に香港で創立され、現在では数百人規模のチェス愛好家にクラスや大会を提供する、大変実績ある組織Caissa Hong Kong Chess Clubの新しい支店として開設されました。統合後は、これまで以上に多彩な大会運営と、段階的な指導体制の充実を図ってまいります。そしてさらに高品質で継続的なチェス教育と活発な大会シーンを提供していきます。これからの活動について知りたい方は下記ご参照ください。

Kashiwara Chess Club, which has been supported by everyone since May 2022, was merged into Caissa Osaka Chess Club on September 1, 2025. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your warm participation and enthusiastic support.
At Kashiwara Chess Club, we have held not only regular meetings but also numerous Blitz, Rapid, and Standard-style tournaments. Each of these has been a precious time and a rich memory that we have built together.
With this merger, we will be able to continue our activities on a bigger stage and in a more sophisticated manner. Caissa Osaka Chess Club is a new branch of the highly successful organization Caissa Hong Kong Chess Club which was founded in Hong Kong in 2012, which currently provides classes and tournaments to hundreds of chess enthusiasts. After the merger, we aim to run a wider variety of tournaments and improve our tiered instruction system. We will continue to provide high-quality, ongoing chess education and a lively tournament scene. If you would like to know more about our future activities, please see below.

サマーチェスキャンプ(8月19日～21日)開催のお知らせ Summer Chess Camp (19th - 21st August) Announcement!
キャンプは、通常のグループレッスンとは別に、1日 3 時間、3～5日間の集中コースです。キャンプは、学校の休暇期間（春休み、冬休み、夏休み）の午前中または午後の早い時間に開催されます。キャンプの目的は、遊び心と楽しさを損なうことなく、できるだけ多くの知識を習得してもらうことです。
Camps are intensive courses (of 3 to 5 days for 3 hours a day), that we run apart from the regular group lessons. Camps are run in the morning and/or early afternoon during school vacation seasons (Summer holidays, Spring holidays, Winter holidays). The purpose of the camps is to transfer as much knowledge as possible without compromising a playful and fun atmosphere.

Default Time: Players who are more than 10 minutes late after the start of the match will lose the match without any change in their rating.
Bye: Forced bye (a bye on a pairing) is worth 1 point.
Clocks, chess sets, and scoresheets provided by the organizer must be used.
Recording moves is optional. However, in cases where a claim is based on the recorded moves—such as a threefold repetition, the claim will, in principle, not be accepted unless the relevant position is clearly recorded on the scoresheet.
After a match ends, both players must sign each other's scoresheets and report the result to the arbiter. Be sure to confirm the result before signing. Do not put away the pieces until the arbiter has completed their position check, as they may need to verify the final position.
Electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and smart watches must be completely turned off and put away in a bag during the match. They may not be worn during the match and are also prohibited from being taken out of the venue in a bag. This rule applies whether the electronic devices are turned on or not, and players who violate it will not be given a forfeit but will immediately lose the match. In addition, spectators and players who have finished the match are also prohibited from using any communication devices, including smartphones, within the venue.
The priority order for determining the starting order will be national rating, title, and alphabetical order of name.
Anything other than the above will be judged according to the FIDE rules. For example, illegal moves are violations, and the second time will result in a loss. Pressing the wrong clock or using both hands are also violations.
★Media Relations★
The results of this tournament will be posted online at chess-results.com for reporting purposes. The game records may also be posted online. Participants agree to the publication of their names, results, and game records. Only for the first 10min visitors are allowed to take photos. Photography besides that is prohibited unless special permission is granted.
Regarding the use of photos and videos of participants (during the game, the award ceremony, etc.) by individuals, be sure to take sufficient care to protect their privacy. In addition to getting comprehensive consent in advance, be sure to get permission from the guardians in the case of minors, and take sufficient care to protect personal information and portrait rights.
The organizers may take photographs, videos, and live broadcasts of the event. These may be published and used on websites, social media, video sites, journals, and other media. Participants agree to the publication and live broadcasting of these photographs and videos.

The organizer may change the above rules for any appropriate reason before the start of a round. There may be unavoidable circumstances in which the time limit may be changed, or the tournament may be cancelled.

新しい挑戦が始まりました！チェスアカデミー開校のお知らせ
こんにちは、柏原チェスクラブのレオです。
ついに、長年の夢だった「チェスアカデミー」を開校することができました！
香港で2012年から活動しているCaissa Hong Kong Chess Clubのメンバーと一緒に大阪でチェスアカデミーを立ち上げました。2025年６月から大阪にて英語を交えたチェス教室を開催いたします。チェスはただのゲームではなく、戦略、思考力、集中力を鍛える素晴らしいツールで世界共通のマインドスポーツ、アート、研究の対象でもあります。このアカデミーでは、初心者から上級者まで、どなたでも楽しみながら学べる環境を提供していきます。
社会人も歓迎ですが、子供向けのチェス指導に重点を置いています。クラブでは、ダッチステップメソッドを用いて、全くの初心者から上級トーナメント出場者まで、プレイヤーを育成しています。
世界共通のチェスを基礎から学びませんか？
香港では、このトレーニングによって全国ユースチャンピオンが輩出され、メンバーや生徒の何人かはユース世界選手権など、最高レベルの大会で母国代表として活躍しています。私たちは日本でも同様の成果を達成できるよう尽力しています。

携帯電話、タブレット、スマートウォッチ等の電子機器類は、試合のとき完全に電源を切り、カバンなどにしまうこと。それらは試合中、身に着けてはならず、カバンに入れて会場の外へ持ち出すことも禁止する。このルールは電子機器類の電源が入っているかどうかによらず適用され、違反したプレーヤーは不戦敗ではなく、ただちに負けとなる。また、見学者及び試合を終えたプレーヤーに対しても、会場内でのスマートフォンなどあらゆる通信機器類の使用を禁止する。
スタート順位を決める基準の優先順位は、国内レーティング、称号、氏名ABC順とする。
上記以外のことはFIDEルールに沿って判断する。例えばイリーガル・ムーブは違反行為であり、2回目は負けとなる。時計の押し間違い、両手使用等も違反行為である。

本大会の結果は報告のためインターネット上（chess-results.com）に公開される。 また、棋譜についてもインターネット上に公開される可能性がある。 参加者は氏名、結果及び棋譜の公開に同意しているものとする。
試合開始から10分間のみ、見学者にカメラ撮影を許可する。それ以降の撮影は禁止とする。ただし、特別な許可を受けた場合は別とする。
個人による参加者の写真・動画（対局中、表彰式等）の使用に関しては、プライバシーの保護に十分注意すること。事前に包括的に了解を取ることに加え、例えば未成年者の場合は必ず保護者の許可を取るなど、個人情報保護や肖像権保護に充分な配慮をすること。
本大会の様子を主催者が写真撮影・動画撮影・ライブ中継を行うことがある。これらはウェブサイト・SNS・動画サイト・機関誌などの媒体で公開、使用することがある。参加者はこれらの写真及び動画の公開、ライブ中継に同意しているものとする。
その他

Tiebreaks:

Default Time: Players who are more than 10 minutes late after the start of the match will lose the match without any change in their rating.
Bye: Forced bye (a bye on a pairing) is worth 1 point.
The clock, chess set, and notation sheets are provided by the organizer and must be used by the players. The game record must be continued throughout the game. When the game is over, both players sign each other's game records and report the results to the arbiter. Be sure to check the results before signing.
Electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and smart watches must be completely turned off and put away in a bag during the match. They may not be worn during the match, and are also prohibited from being taken out of the venue in a bag. This rule applies whether the electronic devices are turned on or not, and players who violate it will not be given a forfeit, but will immediately lose the match. In addition, spectators and players who have finished the match are also prohibited from using any communication devices, including smartphones, within the venue.
The priority order for determining the starting order will be national rating, title, and alphabetical order of name.
Anything other than the above will be judged according to the FIDE rules. For example, illegal moves are violations, and the second time will result in a loss. Pressing the wrong clock or using both hands are also violations.
Media Relations
The results of this tournament will be posted online at chess-results.com for reporting purposes. The game records may also be posted online. Participants agree to the publication of their names, results, and game records. Only for the first 10min visitors are allowed to take photos. Photography besides that is prohibited unless special permission is granted.
Regarding the use of photos and videos of participants (during the game, the award ceremony, etc.) by individuals, be sure to take sufficient care to protect their privacy. In addition to getting comprehensive consent in advance, be sure to get permission from the guardians in the case of minors, and take sufficient care to protect personal information and portrait rights.
The organizers may take photographs, videos, and live broadcasts of the event. These may be published and used on websites, social media, video sites, journals, and other media. Participants agree to the publication and live broadcasting of these photographs and videos.
Other remarks
The organizer may change the above rules for any appropriate reason before the start of a round.
There may be unavoidable circumstances in which the time limit may be changed or the tournament may be cancelled.
